Religious Education (CCD)

This year’s classes will be virtual. Each week you will receive a short video for each of your children to watch. After watching the video, the students will have a homework assignment to do to help them process the information they learned.  

Additionally, each month we will host an in-person prayer opportunity for families to gather together to pray for each other and for our world and experience of different types of prayer (Advent prayers, Stations of the Cross, the rosary, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, etc.).

Preparations for First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation will take place as part of the normal religious education classes. There will be additional activities throughout the year such as retreats and prayer events. The calendar for the year and these additional elements are still being developed but will be shared with families very soon.

The cost of the program is $50 for the first child and $20 for every additional sibling.  Additionally, there is a $20 sacramental fee for those preparing for First Communion or Confirmation. These fees help cover the cost of the books and materials. If you are unable to pay, please contact Lacy Prebula to let her know. No one will be turned away if they can’t pay.
